New Education Policy: The Biggest Education Reform
This ever changing dynamic world has raised the need to change the quality of education we are giving to our children. To make India the powerhouse of knowledge and skills the Government of India has formulated a New Education Policy. The National Policy of Education was framed in the year 1986 and modified in 1992. Since then a lot of alterations have been made. Though none of them made students self-sufficient or focused on skill-based knowledge. However, with this New Education Policy, the Government aims to eliminate the shortage of manpower in science, technology, academics, and industry by giving focus to skill-based knowledge.
The New Education Policy aims to provide a broader thinking width to students. They can think critically by going beyond the textbooks. They can even take a fresh skill, gain maximum knowledge on that, and make a career out of it. One of the most welcoming reforms of this NEP is early childhood education. Schooling will be done in 5+3+3+4 format. The primary focus will be on foundational literacy and numeracy from now. The other focus will be on higher-order cognitive skills and soft skills.
This New Education Policy will work on the following education themes:
Ensuring Learning Outcomes in Elementary Education
Extending outreach of Secondary and Senior Secondary Education

We at Dynasty International School congratulates the Government on taking this initiative. We hope NEP will give freedom to students as there is no rigid separation between science, commerce, and arts now. It has also reduced the stress on boards for entrance examinations. Now students can really do what they want and excel in their field.
