INDEPENDENCE DAY ASSEMBLY

Dynasty International School, Sector-28, Faridabad celebrated 15th August to commemorate the freedom of India with the spirit of patriotism. The Principal Mr. Nitin Verma, Co-coordinators, staff and students all assembled with full passion for a special assembly. The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag and showering of flowers and petals as a blessing from the heavens. Immediately after flag hoisting, the National Anthem was played with full fervor. Then it was an apt time for a speech by our honorable Principal Sir with a message of love, peace and harmony. He especially conveyed the message to students to keep country above self. This was followed by a colorful and vibrant stage show. First the Orchid wing teachers came up with a dance number on the tune of various patriotic medleys. The occasion of Independence Day is to motivate the young minds of today to learn something for the sake of society and country. The students took a pledge to follow the traffic rules. The orchestra, a large instrumental ensemble of classical music and instruments was played with a patriotic theme; which heightened the allegiance towards one’s country. The Junior Wing came up with a group song which gave all a feeling to cherish our motherland and feel proud of it. Next was a dance which narrated the story of the whole nation and its struggles in the past and the present. The audience got charged up and one could feel the palpitation. All good things have to come to an end so did the Independence Day celebrations, but with bringing hope in the coming time for one and for all.
The assembly ended with the Pledge, an oath taken by all. Everywhere the message was spread-

FREEDOM in mind………
Faith in words……………
Pride in our Souls……..
Let us Pledge towards a clean India, Poverty free India, Corruption free India.
Indeed it was a day of joy & love, showing homage; making a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
